These are great paper towels and worth the money. Compared to generic or cheaper brands of paper towels Bounty holds up well and are strong! These are great for spills and for every day cleaning.

I consider myself to be a paper towel “snob” and have always only bought Bounty Paper Towels. During the pandemic, purchasing paper towels became quite a challenge and I was delighted to finally find Bounty Towels in the store. Unfortunately, they were the Bounty Essentials. It surprises me that you would want the “Bounty” name on the package. The product is hardly what I would consider the quality I associate with Bounty. I will definitely be cautious of labeling in the future!

I bought a 6-roll pack of Essential paper towel and very disappointed it. They are thin (although 2 ply), don’t absorb water well. They will be torn, crumbled into small pieces, and stick to hands when touching with water like toilet paper. Make me mad whenever I use it.

All the other reviews here are hating on these paper towels but I like the designs so I buy them.
Bounty basics were better because they were softer than the Bounty Essentials but I can’t find Basics anymore. I buy the Essentials for the prints and I’m not trying to clean up major spills with my paper towels. I’m just using them for day-to-day stuff so they’re OK for me. If I wanted to buy a super absorbent paper towel I would but these are good enough for my daily use.

These work in a pinch. They are not as thick or as durable as original Bounty paper towels. They get the job done, but you end up using more to get the job done. All in all they are just ok, not great and not terrible.

Bought 12=24 doubles, trying to save, but turns out to be a waste of money. Never buy bounty essentials again. Falls apart when using, thin, and not strong at all.

I have been very happy with this paper towel. I am not comfortable with any of the SELECT A SIZE TOWELS. I AM HAVING A SERIOUS PROBLEM LOCATING THESE IN ANY OF THE DOLLAR TREE STORES. I am single and DO NOT HAVE SPACE TO PURCHASE A MININUM OF 30(case load). PLEASE CONTINUE TO STOCK THEM IN THE DOLLAR TREE LOCATIONS. PLEASED AND CONCERNED PATRON!!!!

Thank you for Bounty Essentials towels. I love them. I was one of those people who didn’t believe the commercials about how strong paper towels were, however I know Essentials towels are strong. I like to paint puzzles and I have to clean my table so I use these towels. They hold up wet as i scrub the table. I use them to wash my paint containers, they hold up, never fall apart. They stay a whole sheet, no holes in them also. I love these towels.

BOUNTY IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE!! We cannot find Bounty Basic anywhere, all we have found is this fake Bounty Essentials. They are a bad replacement for what used to be our go to paper towels. They are wound loosely, they are 1/2 the thickness of the Bounty Basic, they are less absorbent also. We use to be able to wipe up water with one towel then use the same towel to clean up something else. Now with these new one it takes at least 3 to get the spill up and they desolve into nothing.

I recently bought a 6 pack of Essential paper towels and every roll was hard to tear leaving an uneven edge having either too much or not having the sheets I wanted.

Just what the title says and just where they ended up. Bought these by mistake and regret it. Switching to Vivo or Brawny. Bounty puts $$$ over quality and customers.

It seems like the paper towels have been lost their quality. Like they are being subcontracted out. Within the last few months the ‘One Big’ difference is the paper towels had been embossed with the same pattern but they said “Bounty” on them. No longer do. I used to use them for tattooing. To wipe the surface of the skin during a tattoo to remove the excess ink. Seems like the change came after the new style of paper towels ‘without the brand name’ embossed on them. They seem to lose fragments of paper on the tattoo. As I would personally blot and wipe my beard after washing my face from eating. I have been noticing paper fragments in my beard and my shirt. I have been using a lot of Bounty and only Bounty all along. I am curious as to what happened? (I dropped a Star ⭐)
I have been a Bounty user since the 1970’s when Rosie advertised them as the “Quicker Picker Upper” in the Diner commercials.

This is the best brand of paper towels when you have stupid and clumsy kids .There are a lot of pros no cons, I wouldn’t change this product at all.It affordable but when Covid-19 stated it was pretty expensive, I would recommend to anyone have the same kids like mine:)

Unbelievably bad compared to all of the other Bounties we’ve used for years. They are thin and two of them have to be used in place of one. These are select a size.

This is one of my favorite paper towels, the one in first place if it is somewhat expensive and I buy it when I find a promotion that is within my reach but it is very, very good and I highly recommend it

These are the worse paper towels I have ever bought. They are so thin that I need 3 or 4 to make even one of the regular Bounty towels. NEVER will I buy these again. They are awful!

I’m not sure what you have done, but the towels I just purchased in the same packaging I have been buying for years are not the same. They are significantly less densely quilted and feel different. They also have a different quilting pattern than the roll I just replaced. I hope this is not a permanent change, because these are not nearly as good as the originals. They are the white select a size. My rating for the original Bounty was a solid 5 and I always did recommend them to others.

Since these Bounty Essentials paper towels had the “Bounty” name, I figured they were as good as the “original” Bounty towels. WRONG!!!! They are the worst paper towels ever!!! They almost disintegrate the minute water or a cleaning liquid hits them!!! My daughter just came in to visit from another state and was helping me clean. Out of the blue, she says the same thing that I always thought about them, and asked if I had anything different. I told her “no” and that I had bought one of those super huge packages of them and I had only 3 rolls left to use, thank goodness, She thought I should just throw the rest of the unused towels away and buy “some GOOD paper towels”!!! I am sorry, but I will NEVER buy Bounty Essentials again and MAY not even trust the original Bounty towels, not knowing if they have changed. The only reason that I bought Bounty Essentials is that my normal brand was out of stock and I don’t like to go shopping often so I buy those huge bags and it was all that was on the shelf. Sorry.

Bounty is a must in the house. After using many other brands to try and “save money” I realized I was actually spending more money because I was using more paper towels And going through them quicker. Because the absorption is just no where near as good as bounty.

I knew this product was less expensive than the regular Bounty. But I really didn’t think that it would be as terrible as it is. It wasn’t that much less expensive. What really disappointed me was that the paper towels fell apart with very little use. I have used cheaper paper towels at other people’s homes and they lasted a lot longer than these. I will continue to buy Bounty towels but I won’t ever buy these again. For just a few pennies more I can have an excellent towel that won’t break down as I use it. I do prefer the full size paper towel to the select-a-size. So, that was OK. These were no bargain because I have had to use many more of them than I normally would for small jobs. Although I have not made formal calculations, I would say that, in the long run, these are more expensive.

I bought these towels and was surprised, of the quality. The quality, of these towels, is no better than the cheap store brand. I am now stuck with 12 rolls of cheap-thin paper towels.

I HAVE BEEN BUYING THESE FOR YEARS……THEY ONLY THIING THAT HAS CHANGED IS AVAILIABILITY AND PRICE…..

I will only buy bounty paper towels and have for years. I didn’t hesitate to try the essentials. They should not carry the bounty name. They are as bad or worse than the store brand,

I love these! My puppy makes a lot of accidents in the house and these pick up the messes so we’ll! I don’t need a lot of towels to pick them up, it absorbs very nicely which is very cost effective!

thanks for still making full sheets of towels everyone jumped on the band wagon some of us don’t like to pick a sheet i have to drive 30 miles to get them but thats ok it’s worth the drive thanks again.

There’s only 2 brands I like and bounty is one of them. Actually number 1. But it depends on the better deal between the 2. They really soak up a spill/mess. I literally only use one to wipe a mess and 2 for a big one. They are an absolutely amazing invention. Although, I wish I didn’t have to use paper towels due to the environment and the planet. But I am a germaphobe with OCD when it comes to washing my hands and drying with a PT, I can’t just use a dish towel. So these paper towels are my favorite.

I used bounty basics for half the price and just as good now all the sudden they change their name and it costs more I’m confused. Bouty basics did just as good of a job that’s why I always bought them but now you wanna charge more for a new name?
Anonymous –
I love using Bounty Essentials because they have the quality of the Bounty name but they are slightly cheaper which is nice when you’re on a budget. I love being able to select a size as well so you’re not wasting unnecessary paper for smaller messes. This is definitely a staple in my house.

Pre-pandemic, quality was amazing and worth the cost. Since, the quality has gone down QUICK! These paper towels are NO better than the off-brand, cheaper paper towel – thin, don’t soak up as much, disintegrate in water. Save your money and take your business elsewhere.
