04/24/24 — Why did you change and make them so SOFT. I know some complained but old classic and new environment friendly…you could wash your car with them. Now suddenly in mid April… the two layers separate, they are soft but at what cost, they fall into separate layers, not as serviceable, I will look else where, if you don’t clean up your ACT. Devoted used for way over 30 years…

I bought this assuming it was the same Bounty I always purchase. I was wrong. This is thinner than the toilet paper we buy. It is a waste of money because it is not absorbent at all. It was like a kleenex tissue. IMO, calling this paper towel is false advertising.

They have made the so called double roll smaller, Your getting less now for the same price, also the quality has gone down. Don’t bother find another replacement .

I’ve had been buying Bounty since “Rosie” was presenting the strongest paper towels and quicker picker upper. They used to have a thin perforated layer of plastic. No longer in the towels and the price hadn’t dropped. Not worth the price anymore solely based on just a paper towel.

We all use them, right? So while Bounty may not be the least expensive. I do find it to be worth the cost. I use the Bounty Essentials Select A Size Paper Towels White 12 Double Rolls = 24 Regular Rolls for a majority of my kitchen and bathroom cleaning. Often rinsed out and used multiple times while doing those dreaded chores. Hubby often leaves these in his pants pockets. Fun fact; they go through the wash and dryer and come out in one piece!

I used to go out of my way to buy these towels, but not anymore. The select-a-size sheet perforations are no longer cut right. After a few purchases with tearing issues I suspect they’re purposely making select-a-size a full sheet product to boost sales. Or maybe someone isn’t properly tooling their machines in the factory I found a good replacement towel. Fool me once…

Love the idea of SELECT A SIZE PAPER TOWELS. However, the quality of the Paper Towels is awful. POOR QUALITY AS VERT THIN SHEETS. I did call and was told they have been aware of the difference in the quality to the REGULAR PAPER TOWELS we have been using for many, many years. Never used another brand of Paper Towel. Told in FEBRUARY changes were made and the quality of the SELECT A SIZE have been made. Well, if that is the case the Supermarket in my neighborhood does not have it so what gives and how are we supposed to know if the quality problem for the SELECT A SIZE has been corrected. I now cut the REGULAR PAPER TOWEL with GREAT QUALITY in half. No problem doing this and I now know what I am paying for.

These are the worse paper towels I have ever bought. They are so thin that I need 3 or 4 to make even one of the regular Bounty towels. NEVER will I buy these again. They are awful!

We have been purchasing Bounty paper towels for years and have never had a bad experience with them until now. These towels are soooo thin they soak up very little. Count on using a whole roll for your moderate spills. We are very disappointed! The Manufacturer can contact me if they want any information regarding the Lot#.

I ended up with the Bounty Essentials because that was all that was at my store. I think they are terrible because they are so thin, cheap, and a waste since you need to use more. I was thinking they were a Bounty knock-off until I confirmed they are really Bounty by visiting this website. They do not seem any better than other cheap brands, maybe a bit softer. So, if you like flimsy, soft paper towel, this is the product for you. I’m just glad the original Bounty is still available. I was worried that the company had cut back on their quality as many have over the years to save money.

What have you done? These are thin and worthless. Your brand used to mean quality. Might as well use a tissue.

I have always had confidence in buying Bounty, but Bounty essentials, are the worst. I feel as though they are even worse that the generic paper towels I can buy for WAY less. Come on, step it up, not down!! CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP In case anyone cares, it is from

Love these paper towels for mt household. Cannot go wrong with them. The twelve pack will last me three months as it is the double thickness rolls. The pattern on the paper towels makes it easier to clean up a mess and there’s plenty a mess with two under 5.

My husband bought Scott paper towels and I couldn’t wait to get rid of them. They were terrible, and definitely not bounty quality. I purchased Bounty Essentials, and to my disappointment, they were just as bad as Scott’s.
I have rarely purchased any other brand than Bounty for a million years now, and I will not buy essentials again.
I’ll go back to my normal Bounty select a size in the green wrapping. Nothing beats it. But my other disappointment, is that they no longer come in regular sizes. I don’t mind double rolls, but these other huge rolls do not fit into my paper towel holders. They are bulky and hard to store.
I want element a size in double rolls, and cannot find them anywhere anymore. What’s up with that?
Very disappointing!!

I have used Bounty Towels since it came out and would not use another brand. I am a satisfied consumer. I purchased the new package of Bounty, (Yellow) didn’t pay much attention to the package, I just opened to use and I am so disappointed in the quality. Why even make this cheaper towel??? I’ll have to use twice the amount to do the same job as the original towels. Going out to get some original Bounty. What a shame.

I got the package yesterday and when I open the box I found a paper towels they had something on them and they look really old and rusted.

I’m happy with the Essentials version. Not sure what the complaints are about. I’m pretty hard on paper towels. Maybe my most abrasive cleaning chore is when I use salt to clean out a cast iron frying pan after making beef (I pour plain dry salt in the dirty pan – no water – let salt sit and absorb gunk a while – then I scrub out all the oils and meaty bits with bounty – gets quite clean – dump greasy salt into garbage. Then scrub pan with just hot water to finish the cleaning job). The salt is abrasive – and the cast iron pan itself is rough – but I can get the job done with a sheet of the either Essentials Bounty or regular Bounty. Other brands of sheets totally fall apart. Other tasks: I can wash down the bathroom mirror and counters with one sheet. I can wipe down my kitchen counters with one sheet without it crumbling or ripping. If I spill something in the carpet, I can use a few sheets and even ring them out and re-use them to keep sopping up the mess. I even used Bounty Essentials to dry my outdoor cat after he was playing in the pouring rain. I scrubbed him all over with a few of Essentials towels – and the towels did not rip – did get very dirty and wet though – and sucked out most of the moisture from his fur. I have no complaints about these towels. I especially like that some stores offer them as single rolls at a good price – because buying a multi-pack of paper towels isn’t always in the budget.

If they could absorb water, that would be a start. Original select-a-size hard to find and super expensive so you’ve made me change brands.

I’m sad that even bounty decides to cut back on the quality of paper towels. Yet still sell it or premium price. The corporate knows what they’re doing. It is just read and very, very sad. I spoke the truth. I hope that you publish this.
