This spray may work well to kill germs, but be prepared to live with the very over powering cologne smell for a long time! I sprayed the carpet and a cotton covered chair in a bedroom and thought the very strong smell would go away once it dried. It’s been 4 days and it is still over powering! I’ve had the window open with a fan in front of it pulling outside air in (which didn’t help at all even after 4 days!), I have vacuumed, sprinkled baking soda all over the carpet and let it sit for an hour twice and then vacuumed, sprayed alcohol mixed with water all over the carpet and chair three times, and washed the curtains in case some got in there and it smells like when I first sprayed. I definitely DO NOT recommend this. I called Lysol and they didn’t have any suggestions to help.

I really like the fabric Lysol to spray under where I put the dogs pee pads. When I replace them I use the Lysol to sanitize and also to help with the odor also.

Maybe it’s just me, but this scent smells like dead fish! I tried it a couple of times and it hasn’t gotten any better. Unfortunately, I can not give it a high star rating.
