    Used to remove adhesive residue on concrete floor. Product got the job done with very little effort. The trick is to spread it out and let it sit for a while.

    Used to remove worn carpet from small outdoor porch of home built in late 70’s. Worked pretty well w/ long-handled ice scraper after a traditional floor adhesive remover didn’t.

    Best not to use this product to remove adhesive from peel and stick tile. This is not the product for this job, however it is a very good product for light residue removal. This product is very thin and will run if surface is not flat. Has a very strong odor so use in a well-ventilated area. It’s always best to ask for recommendations and to use the correct product for the project.

    I bought this to stip an old door. I used a different product first and it worked well. This product didnt even budge much of the paint. I bought it based on the lower price. Big mistake. Buy a better stripper and save the trouble.

    This stuff is Amazing. I was confused when I read “GOOF OFF” since it’s usually “GOO OFF”. This stuff is serious and works so well. Decade old vinyl, so easy to remove after.

    It works adequately but not pristinely. It’s predecessor packed more punch than the latest version. I assume that EPA had a lot to do with why this current version is in place. It takes 3 applications as opposed to its predecessor to work properly

    Just bought this today and started using it as soon as I got home. All sincere, this Goo Gone Pro Strength truely works. My wife and I are rennovating our basement bathroom. The previous owner used some sort of adhesive for the flooring. I was under the impression removing this adhesive was going to take all month. I started with Goo Gone Gell form in the soray bottle 12 oz. Which was working but really only the top layer. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Using this Pro Strength will make this month long task a day. (Also, I am using an oscillating tool with the rigid scraper. Highly recommend)

    This product did not remove soot and residue as expected. It has worked well for me in the past cleaning up paint and tape etc. from painting, but did not work in this application.

    Works great removing glue adhesive from steps. This stuff will melt away the adhesive with ease. You have to do some scraping but not a lot.

    I thought I was buying a good floor cleaner but what I got was full strength potent Goof Off. It works very well for dried latex paint on a wood floor. Would recommend

    I thought the product would be strong enough to remove tar from my driveway, especially given the relatively high product price. On the spots that were lightly tarred the product worked OK, but on the more soiled areas, the product didn’t work at all. I would not purchase this product again for the removal of tar from a concrete driveway.

    After purchase, found that the product should not be used for large areas (only small bits), so it really didn’t work for removing old floor mastic. I tried it in a small area and it took a little off, but not much. Hard to recommend this for the purpose I’d planned.

    Goof Off got the idea that a pour spout in the gallon size was too complex or inefficient so they replaced it with an over-engineered weird nozzle.

    One that only points straight up. You can’t pour.

    Squeeze the can and it shoots up like a drinking fountain AND quickly soaks the can. Even with a funnel the liquid will simply flow along the body of the can all over the floor.

    This bad experience has ruined a postal scale and the folding table it was resting on.

    AVOID.

    We had paint on our concrete garage floor that was peeling and chipping and we decided to take it off. We used a gallon of Goof Off to strip the paint off. Just a little scrapping and now the paint is all gone!!! It was really a labor saver!!!

    I had very high hopes for this to remove concrete adhesive due to the reviews but when we got it, it really did nothing for the glue even letting it soak and scrubbing it.
    Waste of money

    This stuff is a real time and labor saver when removing glued down carpet on a pontoon boat. Apply it directly to the carpet and within a minute or two the carpet can be scrapped off. I used a long handle scraper that looks like a straightened out hoe. Two gallons was enough to do a 25′ x 8′ Aluminum deck. If you use it on plywood decking you may have problems getting the new glue to stick.

    Great product for removing paint, clean up, and hard to remove dirt. One problem with goof off is that plastic do not
    mix very well. It can take the finish off and clouds clear plastic. My biggest problem with GOOF OFF is the new spout (Cap). Really hard to get the product out in the amount you need. I transfer the whole gallon to another container so I can use it. This cap may work on a small container, but is really dumb for a gallon container. Wake up Goof OFF and bring the old cap back. Great product but poorly designed cap.

    Used it to remove carpet glue from concrete floor. Works great. Do not use on any type of plastic, it will dissolve it.
