I’ve had a “mildew” smell in my downstairs 1/2 bath that has poor vinylation. Ever since I placed one of these (along with a DampRid container) the smell is gone!!! This air freshener is not overpowering with a scent and it has masked the mildew smell perfectly!

So you can tell from the pics this isn’t the greatest looking bathroom accessory you would normally choose however the scent is a nice low key linen (although I didn’t do exactly what the directions said). We plan on moving this into our motorhome where it will get a wonderful addition but I just had to try it out in our guest bathroom first. We don’t like and overpowering scent so I modified this a little – instead of removing the inner top
liner I just punched a few holes in it with the ice pick so it wouldn’t be too much. And so far we seem to really love it. I always have a wax melt candle of some type in our bathrooms but you have to remember to blow out the candle or turn it off if using electric so this has solved that issue at least. I plan on leaving it in my guest bathroom for a few more days before taking it to our motorhome half bath and I am excited to know I will always have that bathroom with a nice pleasant scent. And yea I plan on buying more to keep as backups bc who doesn’t want a nice smelling bathroom for family and friends. I can’t speak as to how long this lasts but the container does say 90 days. Too bad they didn’t find a more decorative packaging idea for this.

My wife is really big on scented candles. They cost a lot of $ and they either have no pleasant smell at all or they are really overpowering. Yes they last a while but …if they don’t work or are too strong – who cares? The Linen Gel Freshener is GREAT. I’ve used other brands of gel fresheners in the past and they were ALL very overpowering (scent) and they didn’t last very long – the gel beads evaporate and look pretty ugly when they do. The Linen Gel Freshener has a very mild (but noticeably “clean”) scent. Great – good first start…but I figured the gel bead would be gone quickly They were not …I was honestly shocked how long it lasted. Hard to attach pictures of a great smelling air freshener but …..believe me, this stuff works.

This is one of those odd items that when it works and does it’s job it is not out front but quietly just doing a good job in the background. We put this in our basement apartment which is smelling a bit musty, especially in the early spring and fall when air is not circulating much in the area. We tried using a plug-in device that was advertised to be pleasant but it proved to be overwhelming! It was literally so strong, even at the lowest settings there was a constant, overwhelming scent in the room. With the Odor Air Magnet we liked the scent as soon as it was opened. Not too strong and really did have a fresh linen aroma. Placed it in a convenient spot in the room and now the musty smell is gone. Each time I walk into the area nothing overwhelms us, just a very pleasant background aroma which is perfect for our taste. This will be a permanent addition to this area!

I put this dispenser in the closet with a strange musty smell, and instead of eliminating it (as other reviews mentioned), it made the smell 10 times worse, and even the room started to smell as the mix of this air freshener and odor.
Because I had already opened the box, I decided to relocate the dispenser to the guest bathroom. The scent became cleaner, but I still didn’t like it. It is not a Linen smell. It’s a mix of linen and ocean, which is not for me.

We have a musty closet in the garage. We have tried other odor relievers. Gonzo’s Air Freshener works better than the others. It has only a slight fragrance, which is a plus. I pealed the resealable top off of the container and let it stand for three hours. Then I resealed the top as the odor from the closet was gone. It has been three days. I just checked, and the odor is still gone. I recommend this product for stubborn odors especially if you do not like to add heavy fragrance to the air. I think it will be good for many uses. The container is hefty and filled with aroma crystals. The top may be removable. It has holes in it to allow the aroma out. The inside of the top has a woven paper/cloth screen that holds the crystals inside. The top is covered on the outside with a resealable adhesive sheet. Do not toss that if you wish to turn it on and off as needed.
