I bought these for the first time and have regretted it. I bought the ‘fresh scent” and it smelled up the entire kitchen and my dishes. Why would you want scented dishes to eat food off of? I tried rewashing the dishes to get the smell off multiple times with my normal dish detergent and can’t get the smell out of the inside of my dishwasher either. Had to throw out my plastic storage containers due to them absorbing the Cascade smell even after hand washing. Ridiculous. If your dishes are being cleaned, why do you need such a strong perfume smell covering them? I will not be buying these again.

Except for leaving occasional spots on wine glasses, this detergent does a good job cleaning my dishes. Although I try to protect the pods from moisture, occasionally a few are stuck together. When I gently pry them apart, a bit of powder spills out, but this isn’t a huge problem. However, when this happened yesterday, the portion of the pod that broke was the bubble that encloses green liquid, which burst and leaked over the pods beneath it, thereby moistening more pods and making them stick together. Including liquid-filled bubbles in a product that most be kept dry is an obvious design flaw.

I’m not sure if you’ve changed something or not, but I have used your action pacs for over 10 years and my last purchase of the 78 pac left a powdery film on my dishes. I use the rinse in my dishwasher along with the action pac. I even tried cleaning out my dishwasher thinking it was something in my dishwasher causing the horrible powdery film and it happened the second time after washing the same load of dishes. I had to purchase the other company’s product and one time wash and all of the filmy residue left by the action pac was gone.

Cascade Complete have no instructions on the package. Having written instructions for operations, I know that if you don’t put it down in writing, there are those who will want to tear the plastic outer wrap off (like you do in most microwave meals) and those who will try to just toss it in the main dishwasher, or put it in the rinse holder. I searched the entire package. Nowhere does it simply state: Place one plastic wrapped actionpac into dishwasher soap container.

I’m far from a prude and find the cascade “I do it every night” TV commercials leaving me shaking my head imagining how much money they paid for this really bad advertising decision and why, in the name of spotless glassware, they couldn’t come up with a better idea.

I prefer the Plantinum ones so much more than these. They always leave a streaky residue on my glassware, and they don’t completely rinse clean unless I have it on the heavy setting with an extra rinse.

We have been using this product for years because it is tried and true. It gets dishes so clean without leaving a residue. The smell is ok though not my favorite and I do wish the packaging was recyclable. We purchase this item at Costco so the price is fantastic for the amount!

I normally buy Platinum but bought Complete by accident. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I’m not even halfway through the container and I’ve already had half a dozen pods not dissolve while washing. I’ve had to run these loads through a second time. One load actually had to be run through for a third time. Tried using the chat option on the Cascade website but after 10+ minutes of waiting for someone to connect with me, I gave up. Had to go out and purchase another container of dishwasher pods because I didn’t want to keep wasting my water/hydro/gas for hot water/wear and tear on my machine with pods that aren’t dissolving. Not happy.

These are my favorite dishwasher tabs. They smell really good and are great at getting dishes clean. We have very hard water but these cut down on spots on glasses and also make pre-rinsing (words my boys just don’t understand) not quite as necessary, meaning I don’t have to rewash quite as many dishes.😁 They are also very convenient and easy to use. Just plop one in and start the dishwasher. No mess or measuring or fuss. If you have hard water, forgetful children or just want to use an easy, convenient and hard working product you need to give these a try.

The Cascade Complete dishwasher pods are the recommended brand for my Frigidaire dishwasher. I purchased these due to having a coupon included with the purchase of my dishwasher.
They definitely clean well and get the job done. I’ve never had to re-wash a dish and everything comes out with a polished look. However, these pods have a very strong scent and it lingers on the dishes despite an extra rinse cycle. As someone with lung issues, this does not work well for me, so I ended up donating them to our break room at work and switched to a store branded product that I have good luck with.
These pods are also the priciest compared to others on the store shelf. In doing some research with Good Housekeeping and Consumer reports, there are store brand pods that clean equally effectively and are lighter on the scent and wallet.

I buy these pods in boxes of 78. In each of the last two boxes I have bought, more than 10 of the pods have been fused together in clumps of 2, 3 or 4. If I separate the fused pods, the plastic tears and the detergent spills out, defeating the purpose of using pods. The company needs better quality control, so that a box of 78 does not have more than 10% of the pods unusable due to clumping.

I’ve had a miniature tabletop dishwasher for years now, and never use any rinse agents. My dishes started to come out so sketchy that I actually disassembled the entire unit to clean thinking that was the problem. Never even crossed my mind it was the product itself. These are filled with powder on the bottom, and somehow they melt/stick to each other, which then causes a huge mess, ripping pods open, as well as a different style of the same brand (for half the price) being a complete different “pod” with WAY more cleaning ingredients, these just went flying off my list in place for Cascade Platinum. Dont even waste your time with Cascade Complete

I am using this from 7-8 months and I find it easy to use and dishes comes out clean. It contains a liquid and powder soap inside just one small pouch. Put your dirty dishes, drop one pouch inside the dishwasher and start the dishwasher and you are all set. The only downside is that if pouch content is not fully dissolved even after completing whole wash cycle then you may have to restart your dishwasher.

I am not one to stick with one brand unless it works great. I, however, have been using this for over a year. I absolutely love how clean my dishes are. I just rinse off my dirty dishes and put them in the dishwasher. It takes the hardest, most stubborn food off of my dishes. It is completely affordable for the amount you get.

These packs were a total waste of money. I have no clue how well they clean due to the fact that they do not come out of the dispenser once the dispenser door is opened during the wash cycle. What you are left with at the end is a hard, un-disolved rock.
I would never buy this again. waste of money, with the product itself and the waste of energy having to re-wash everything.
