So first the positive: I used this a few times when there were some..errr… normal stinky smells wafting out of the room they should be staying in. The spray definitely helped dissipate the unwanted smells. The negative: the fragrance. In general, it doesn’t necessarily smell bad, it’s just to perfumey, artificial smelling. I like the warm, amber smell, but this just didn’t hit the mark. Maybe I would prefer a different fragrance. The fragrance didn’t last very long either, which I’m ok with In this case. It helped get rid of the other smell. Overall, I guess it did its job of eliminating the bad smell. But if you’re looking for a long lasting fragrance, this may not be it. It’s a bit overwhelming at first then quickly dissipates.

My fav scent, not girly or manly and not overbearing. It works great near diaper genie. It is priced reasonably. The lid is harder for kids to use.

Loved the CASHMERE WOODS scent. Purchased a new set of 3 and thought they might have been mislabeled. The new scent is not pleasant. I see from other reviewers that Glade changed this scent and others. Why? Will not be buying again.

Why did you change the formula. Cashmere woods has been my go to scent for years. It smelt so good. But the new scent is horrible. I thought I might have got a bad batch so bought it again and it was the same. Lucky for me I was cleaning out my dresser and found an old can so I can enjoy it for a little while longer. Please please please bring back the old scent!!!

My husband and I have been buying Cashmere Woods for years. We loved it! We use the auto sprays in our bathrooms. Bought a new batch recently. Couldn’t figure out the new smell in my bathroom but didn’t care for it. Thought my husband had a new cologne. Finally figured out it was the Cashmere Woods. I’m so disappointed in the new scent. We’re not fans of it. We’ll have to find a new scent. Maybe something like clean linen.

Smells nice but the discharge pressure too low.

I love this spray scent, but every can I buy halfway through the can it stops spraying. What gives. I’ve been through 3 cans and have to thru away because it won’t spray. Went to buying Fabrezze atleast it will spray when needed. Won’t recommend this product.

Cashmere Woods has such a woodsy floral romantic smell in my opinion. It’s mild enough to not be overwhelming but it lets you know it’s there even after about 20 mins. I wouldn’t say this spray has long lasting scent but for the value, enough scent to do the job! I like the to layer this scent with the Cashmere Woods candles as well as the plug ins. Love the Glade company, always brining new scents.

The Cashmere Woods air freshener spray is a great scent for our bathroom used mostly by men. It’s also a pleasing scent for winter use.

I have been using Cashmere Woods scent in 2 automatic dispensers for years but recently after purchasing a four pack of Cashmere Woods we notice a very distinctive scent change and it’s terrible. It now has a very chemical smell to it. I tried all of the cans in the 4 pack and was hoping it was a fluke can but they all smelled that same. Hopefully, the original scent comes back.

This scent is so heavenly and such a soft spray. This is easy to use and covers all the areas I need sprayed. This is a warming home like spray. This is an aerosol can. This is very affordable. This definitely is something I have purchased multiple times. I love how they have kept the same consistency on this fragrance.

I love the scent and because of that keep purchasing, unfortunatly the spray on the can needs to be revamped. 50% of them will not spray or work and i end up throwing a full can away

I like the smell, it is a nice scent.

Cashmere Woods became my favorite scent in both the automatic spray and air freshener. Last month I purchased the new 2x more fragrance air freshener and although the fragrance is okay, I hate the spray. It’s wet and makes my bathroom floor sticky. I couldn’t understand why until I read the back of the can “wipe floor if damp.” What? Everything has to be wiped down because it comes out so wet and I’m very careful about not using a lot of it. I now avoid using it completely. I will either look for a different brand or perhaps try the automatic spray in the bathroom. I hope you go back to the old format. Sometimes new isn’t always better.

Why would you change such a good thing? I absolutely loved the scent of cashmere woods! I even looked into what fragrances were in it because I wanted to get the essential oils. My husband just bought a twin pack of cashmere woods because he knew how much I loved it and it’s horrendous! I can’t stand it and it’s all over my house now! I can’t wait for it to go away. Did you add jasmine? I think it had bergamot before didn’t it? It had great reviews. Why mess with a good thing? I hate when companies do this. Call it something else, it’s not the same cashmere woods! My boys are even complaining of the scent. I’m going to return the twin pack my husband got and find something else. Hopefully it will cover up the smell of this new scent.

I used to use this all the time and it was my favorite scent but they’ve changed the fragrance and it doesn’t smell the same. I actually really hate the way this smells now. I’m so sad about this and hope that they change it back to what it was so I can start buying again.

The Cashmere Woods was the only fragrance that we liked. It was a nice clean smell. We have 5 spray dispensers in the house and have been using them for years. Recently we purchased 6 refills. As the old refills expired we started to replace them. The scent has changed and it is not a pleasant smell. We tried giving the cans away and got the same response from those we gave them to. We ended up throwing the refills in the trash. Way to go Glade, look like we will be throwing the dispensers in the trash too.

We’ve been using Glade products for years, with my earliest recollection from when I was a child. I’m retired now, but still using Glade products. We’ve used the Cashmere Woods (R) scented air freshener in recent years and were happy, but the newly purchased cans have a lot to be desired. #1-the scent is not the same pleasant aroma. A BIG #2 is the spray, propellant, or whatever was changed. Now when you spray, it falls directly down, coating whatever is under it. The floor, cabinets, your person, and it has a sticky residue left by the particles floating down. Unless a resolve is come to, I’m afraid we’ll need to change air freshener manufacturers.

Zero stars not an option! We have been using Cashmere Wood fragrance in our automatic dispensers for over a year. I buy 3 pack refills whenever needed. Today, my wife replaced an empty can with what I have since learned is a new formula! I asked my wife if she has been spraying perfume around the house. She told me about the replacement. I then checked the can she had used becaused I was convinced it wasn’t our Cashmere Woods standard. I tested it. OMG! What have you done, Glade!!? Whoever at Glade made the decision that this new scent was an improvement over the original CW must of had a sinus infection that day! Glade has an entire line of fragrances that smell like women’s perfume, why would you eliminate the only one that didn’t? This new scent is so overpowering, it literally assaults my senses. I had to open windows in 45 degree weather, to eliminate the odor that an exhaust fan did touch after an hour of use. Probably because the spray falls onto every surface now instead if lingering in the air. Finally, why would you change the fragrance but not change the name!!? Cashmere Woods users everywhere are now stuck with product they won’t use. I’ll be disposing of the 3 cans I have on hand.

The scent changed and my son and I hate it. It used to have a more exotic, amber maybe, scent, and now it’s too earthy/woodsy. My son and I are both disappointed because we used to love it – his favorite Christmas gift one year was his own auto freshener with a few refills for his smelly sporty room. I’m bummed because once we started running out I bought a bunch more, all with this new smell I do not like.

I purchased 3 cans. All 3 cans stopped spraying after using 3-4 times (each). No I do NOT shake the can. What a waste of money. Used Glade since I was a child. I’ve talked to others and they too are having issues and have purchased from different companies. Now for me to move on to a different brand. Since it’s not an Aerosol, why wasn’t it made into a Pump Spray can/bottle??

I used to love this product but this new, natural formula stinks! I’m throwing away my 2 pack! I would give a zero rating if there was one.

I have used Glade air fresheners for years but this new design and formula makes the floor sticky. There’s also a warning on the can that it can make the floor slippery which I didn’t notice when I bought it. The new design spray top is very difficult to press down making it awkward to spray. I wish Glade didn’t change the design that has worked effortlessly for years! I will not buy this particular product again and will only buy the old version of spray can.

Something has changed. Not sure if I got a bad batch or the formula has changed but the scent is no longer pleasant. The scent used to be mellow and woodsy and now it has this harsh smell that overpowers the woodsy/earthy smell. It smells harsh, bright, overpowering (too strong and perfumy) and is no longer pleasant. I am bummed about this if this a new formula. I will buy another bottle and try it again and hope I can tolerate it. This new smell showed up in the twin pack for the automatic sprayer. Please, please go back to your regular Cashmere Woods formula!

I recently tried Glade Cashmere Woods Aerosol. I immediately noticed that I LOVE the nozzle spray pattern. It has a wide mist, rather than concentrated single direction, and sprayed evenly and easily. The fragrance is unique. It is musky and sweet. It reminds me more of a fall carnival, than a sweater in the forest. It’s different, but not off-putting. It’s a scent that could be considered unisex. What disappointed me, is the fact that the fragrance fades extremely fast. I found myself using much more product, and the smell disappeared completely with deceased several minutes. It may be very suitable for those wanting a short burst of fragrance, perhaps in a guest bathroom or such. I tried Glade Cashmere Woods Aerosol, for no cost in exchange for an honest review, and I’m torn about purchasing it. I would recommend it to people who don’t mind having aerosol fragrances that only last a short time.

I don’t think anyone could have possibly tested this for your entire demographic! I’m older but not completely feeble and I can barely push the button. I need two hands. Why did you change something that did NOT need to be messed with. When I do manage to get it pushed, it barely sprays. It’s not just a one off, I’ve tried 3 cans. Unfortunately I won’t be buying this again because I can’t use it. I’d rather not call someone else into the bathroom to spray it for me that might have more hand strength. Please go back to the original spray top or at least give us the choice. Otherwise the product is now useless for me. Which is a shame because I have been a Glade lover for years. Always the best scents. Now I have to find something else

When I happened to pick up a can of Cashmere Woods air freshener spray many years ago, I loved it. For some reason, the fragrance brought me right back to Sal’s Barber Shop, where I used to get my hair cut as a kid, in the 1970’s-80’s. Well, when I picked up the new “2X” version for the first time a few weeks ago, I had no reason to suspect it would be any different. Was I wrong! Not only is the familiar scent gone, the new one is awful. It smells very heavily of vanilla, with a hint of “ozium”, or some other product people might use to cover smoke odors. Wow, just simply awful. And so sad, since the original Cashmere Woods was the only air freshener I still enjoyed the smell of, even after many years of use. Also, the new product sprays a wet mist, which falls like rain on everything, including your clothes if you aren’t careful, leaving you smelling like a vanilla deodorizer for the rest of the day. The old formula was much more of a dry fog, which hung in the air, rather than falling to coat surfaces. Reading the other reviews, it seems like others have shared similar sentiments. Hopefully you can go back to the drawing board on this, and bring back what we all liked about the old version.

This new formulation is AWFUL! We have been using this stuff for years. I had just bought several a few weeks ago, and after smelling this stuff, it went right into the garbage.

What did you do to ORIGINAL beautiful Cashmere Woods scent!!! The original scent was very nice! The new Fragrance is TERRIBLE! The new scent honestly smells like Bug spray !. It appears the propellent changed as well, original scent would disperse in the air nice and easy, the new propellent does not work well, the aerosol is different, you might have to wipe the damp floor after spraying. PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL SCENT OF CASHMERE WOODS !

the scents are very nice, but the new cans – the way they spray – SUCK…all they do after they’ve been used a few time, they don’t spray, they spit and leak from under the cap down the side of the can – I’ve had TWO cans do this – so Glade has lost a long time customer
